QA Supervisor (2nd & 3rd Shift) – Aurora, CO
 
Summary 
 
We are seeking two QA Supervisors to oversee the quality assurance activities on the production floor, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality management systems, including SQF, HACCP, and GMP standards. The QA Supervisor will lead the QA team in supporting customer expectations, continuous improvement, and productivity goals while acting as a key resource for quality and food safety. This leadership role is essential in maintaining high-quality standards in our facility, known for producing top-tier products.

  • Pay range: $60k – $75k annually

  • Shifts

    • 2nd shift: 2pm – 10:30pm

    • 3rd shift: 10pm – 6:30am


  • Duration: Direct-hire (permanent position)

  • Sign-on bonus: $2,500

 
Responsibilities 
 

  • Manage and supervise daily activities of QA Technicians, ensuring the proper execution of QA tasks on the production floor.

  • Provide guidance and support on quality and food safety issues to operations and QA teams. Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

  • Coach, train, and mentor QA Technicians, and perform new employee orientations. Maintain an ongoing inventory of QC/lab supplies and facilitate equipment training.

  • Support internal and external audits, including regulatory, customer, and GFSI audits. Analyze audit results and address any deficiencies.

  • Review and organize daily operational paperwork. Summarize hold reports and assist with trace, hold, and recall program activities.

  • Work closely with production managers, supervisors, and leads on formula changes and product issues. Assist the Quality Manager in disciplinary actions as required.

  • Act as the backup for the Quality Manager, assuming leadership responsibilities during their absence.

  • Participate in reducing foreign object contamination and oversee product releases. Provide support to operations and other teams to enhance product quality and safety.

 
Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related science field or equivalent experience in a food manufacturing environment.

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in Quality Assurance within the food production industry.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. 

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 

  • Flexibility to work weekends and varying shifts as needed. 

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
