Job Title: Data Analytics Engineer
Pay rate: $60 – $69 per hour
Duration:  06 months
W2 contract only (No C2C)
Location– Urbandale, FL (100% REMOTE)

Shift: Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm

You will be responsible for extracting, copying and transforming clinical data and loading it into Azure SQL databases and data warehouses, supporting multiple Performance Partnership consulting projects.

You will be a part of the Performance Partnership team and report to the Senior Manager of Analytics, responsible for leading the development of Microsoft Azure-based automation (data collection, data quality, data transformation, data integration, business intelligence).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement automation roadmap for Azure cloud data processing

  • Define, develop, maintain and document database and warehouse architecture

  • Work with external customers to extract data from various source systems (LIS, time management and financial)

  • Leverage healthcare standards to integrate seamlessly into clinical systems and workflows, robustly addressing data privacy, security, authentication, auditing and other essential functions

  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and standards inside and outside of the healthcare space and recommend technologies to best fit business needs

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree with 5+ years of experience OR Master of Science degree with 3+ years of experience

  • Deep understanding of ETL, ELT pipelines, with the ability to design, optimize and orchestrate (SSIS, Data Factory)

  • Significant expertise with relational DBMSs (Azure SQL, SQL Server), DDL, DML, Index management and query optimization

  • Experience with CI/CD platforms (Git, Azure DevOps)

  • Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud resource management, cloud architecture and cloud security

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and maintaining Azure Analysis Services (Tabular Models)

  • Experience working with highly controlled health data (HIPAA, GDPR)

  • Azure Storage – data lake scripting (automating movement of data using Azure functions or automation scripts)

  • Power BI and DAX programming experience (star schema data modeling, measure design)

  • Previous clinical laboratory analytics experience
