Kelly Engineering is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our client’s team which is a global leader in electrical distribution systems in data centers, construction, healthcare, automotive, oil & gas, and textile industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Quotation Support:
- Assist in project layouts and collaborate with sales on quotations by determining required product quantities.
- Work closely with sales and customers to clarify project requirements and deliverables.
- Support preliminary design calculations, layouts, and document preparation.
Quotation Support:
- Help select appropriate products for projects and draft specifications.
- Review project requirements, ensuring compliance across engineering disciplines.
- Attend site meetings to understand project needs and document key information.
Project Support:
- Assist in preparing drawings, calculations, and field measurements for project verification.
- Collaborate on customer-reviewed drawings and quotations to ensure accuracy.
- Support equipment specification finalization, internal orders, and schedule monitoring.
- Prepare organized job files and contribute to contract specification accuracy.
- Help troubleshoot technical issues with Senior Project Engineers.
Site Support:
- Provide on-site customer training for system installation, testing, and maintenance.
- Assist with technical support to contractors, field measurements, and troubleshooting.
This role involves collaboration across teams to ensure project accuracy, compliance, and successful implementation.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 2-4 Years as an Electrical Engineer in a role at an engineering firm (construction industry), electrical equipment manufacturer, or similar
- BS in Engineering or related discipline
- 3+ Years Experience with Revit, AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD 2D/3D
Travel
Approximately 25% (project dependent)
