Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse. They play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse by handling materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Receiving and Inspecting:
• Receive and inspect incoming materials and supplies.
• Verify the quantity and quality of items received against shipping documents.
• Report any discrepancies or damage to the supervisor.
• Material Handling:
• Safely unload materials from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment 
(e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Transport materials to storage or designated areas within the warehouse.
• Ensure materials are stored in an organized manner and in accordance with 
company procedures.
• Inventory Management:
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and transactions.
• Report inventory shortages, overages, and damages to the supervisor.
• Order Picking and Packing:
• Accurately pick items from stock to fulfill customer orders.
• Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and 
packaging.
• Process shipping and receiving documentation as required.
• Equipment Operation:
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and 
effectively.
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working 
environment.
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Participate in safety training and initiatives.
• General Warehouse Duties:
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or warehouse manager.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to [specify weight limit]).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and record-keeping.

Working Conditions:
• Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
• Standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
