Service Technician – Water Treatment (Braceville, IL)

Kelly Services has a new Service Technician role available (strong Maintenance backgrounds- (water treatment equipment, etc.)- an excellent Direct Hire position with an industry leader. As a Service Technician, you’ll play a critical role supporting operations and maintenance of advanced water treatment systems at a primary site.  If you’re mechanically inclined, enjoy working with new technology, this is the opportunity you have been waiting for!

Responsibilities:
Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance.
Conduct maintenance and calibration activities.
Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements.
Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in the maintenance/repair of electro-mechanical equipment.
Experience with water treatment equipment a plus. Team would love to see on resumes experience with stationary equipment (boilers, chillers, etc.)   Team would love to see on resumes experience with water treatment, water treatment equipment or relevant experience in these areas.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills required, all trades are welcome to apply! Water treatment experience very desirable, but not required. Anyone in trades, pipe fitter etc. would fit very well!

No Travel, this role is an onsite role with great first shift hours, serving as Customer’s Representative at a Nuclear site. 

Compensation  ***$28.00 to $32.00 an hour  plus*** depending on experience.*** Posted Salary make not work for you? New Federal Laws require a salary to be posted, even if it’s negotiable.
