Job Description:
In this role you have the opportunity to become an integral member of the Production Team for the Mission Systems Displays Group, a leading provider of mission-critical avionics and display system solutions.
You are responsible for:

The Assembly Technician uses their skills to produce high quality electronic products with accuracy and attention to detail. Main responsibilities will include but not limited to:
-
Assemble and test the company products in accordance with documented work instructions to ensure the units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.

Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Interpret assembly drawings and process flow instructions.
-
Must be trained across all assembly stages.

Work under minimal supervision.

Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals.

Resolve most questions and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher levels.

Identify quality and reliability issues and submit recommendations for improvements.

Develop personal goals and objectives for continuous improvement in support of Company and Department goals and objectives

Maintain workplace organization.
-
High school diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school or secondary education in electronics technology strongly preferred.
-
Two (2) years prior electronic assembly experience required.

Basic computer skills including Word and Excel
-
Regular, predictable attendance is required.
-
Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.
-
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.

Aerospace/Aviation experience preferred.
-
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit.

The employee is occasionally required to reach out with hands and arms, to stoop, kneel, or crouch.

The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
