Kelly Science and Clinical has a new opportunity for a Lab Technician in Bedford Park, IL!
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
Pay: $20-$22/hour DOE
3-4 month Temporary Opportunity
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical tests independently and accurately as written in test procedures as part of the quality control laboratory.
- Test samples are to be gathered and tested within expected time frame and stored as required.
- Collect samples of incoming supplies, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Perform routine procedures independently or with minimal supervision.
- Maintain complete, accurate and legible test records, in accordance with Company policy and record keeping procedure.
- Follow all safety and quality guidelines according to Good Laboratory Practices and lab safety requirements.
- Keep work area clean and maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform other work as assigned by laboratory management.
- Provide support by maintaining communication to lab personnel to continue supporting operations needs to meet customer requirements.
- Assist in the maintenance of equipment, including routine maintenance and resolution of common or simple problems with instruments.
- Work as part of a technical group in a multi-cultural and diverse work environment to accomplish a common goal.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline preferred
- Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in following detailed written procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
