Job Title: Billing Analyst
Location: Farmington CT
Hybrid Work Schedule 2 days’ work from home
Temporary with chance to go permanent
$30-$35 per hour
Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Billing Analyst to join clients team on a temporary basis. The primary responsibility of this position is to assist with client billing operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the billing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, with a focus on client billing. This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Billing Operations:
- Follow up with clients regarding contact changes.
- Complete billing contact setups and changes in the billing system.
- Upload monthly FX rates and add missing FX rates as needed.
- Upload monthly and quarterly actual and accrual market values (MV) to the billing system.
- Update the billing MV master spreadsheet monthly.
- Verify revenue accruals and ensure bills reflect correct market values and fee calculations.
- Process and send bills to clients on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Upload output from the billing system to the Data Warehouse via Excel.
- Collaborate closely with other team members and the Office Manager.
- Track the receipt of client amendments.
- Complete new account/portfolio setups and changes in the billing system.
- Update client manual calculation spreadsheets, as necessary.
- Perform zero MV uploads.
- Populate billing worksheets with client fees on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Assist with audit requests from Compliance.
- Follow up with clients on any past due invoices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- Experience in accounting and financial analysis with a focus on client billing.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
- Proficiency with Envestnet/Redi2 billing software is a plus.
- Experience in billing or accounts receivable (A/R) is a plus.
