Job details
Kelly Science is seeking a Chemist II/III for growing company located in Holland, MI.
Salary expectations: $65,000-90,000/year
Employment Type: Full Time; Direct Hire
Job responsibilities include:
- Providing support to pilot plant operations including:
- Developing batch records
- Performing analytical testing utilizing NMR, GC and HPLC.
- Troubleshooting pilot plant issues
- Optimizing chemical processes
- Developing batch records
- Ensuring the upkeep of laboratory equipment and analytical instrumentation
- Assisting with R&D by conducting synthetic chemistry experiments within a laboratory setting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry or a related scientific field.
- 2+ years of experience with organic, inorganic or polymer synthesis and scale up of processes within an industry setting.
- Must be able to multi-task and must be organized.
