What’s a typical day as a Manufacturing Technician? You’ll be:
• Operating hand and power tools to assemble electrical and mechanical assemblies/sub-assemblies
• Following mechanical assembly drawings, electrical schematics, plumbing diagrams, SOPs, and work instructions to build and integrate capital equipment
• Troubleshooting problems and making necessary adjustments to equipment setups
• Conducting functional testing and in-process visual inspection of parts, sub-assemblies, and instruments
• Maintaining records of production and reporting any inconsistencies or equipment issues
• Adhering to Quality Management System and ISO9001 requirements
• Adhering to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements and other environmental, health, and safety regulations
• Supporting various engineering development and lab maintenance activities
• Participating in daily team stand-up meetings and improvement events
• Mentoring new or less-experienced technicians
• Performing other related duties as assigned
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in a technical discipline preferred)
• Have 5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably with capital equipment manufacturing experience
• Have prior experience working with semiconductor equipment (highly preferred)
• Have expertise in the use of hand and power tools
• Can read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics
• Are proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer systems and platforms
• Can work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
• Are fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Have good manual dexterity and the ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. unassisted
