We’re seeking a Machine Builder to work at a premier client in Rochester, NY. This opportunity could be the one you’ve been looking for. Temp-hire, working day shift with competitive pay based on experience.
What’s a typical day as a Machine Builder? You’ll be:
• Following detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
• Complying with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Reporting problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials.
• Utilizing safety equipment and practicing safe work habits.
• Picking and assembling parts for subassemblies and final pump build/test/paint.
• Evaluating pumps for repair.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools to build pumps.
• Testing metering pumps on test stands.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborating with the Engineering Department and assembly personnel.
• Assisting in quality assurance and shipping areas as needed.
• Painting steel parts after degreasing.
• Maintaining and cleaning paint spray gun after each use.
• Maintaining the pump test stands.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Possess good mathematical skills.
• Have the ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have strong mechanical ability and knowledge of machines and tools.
