What’s a typical day as a Shipping Receiving? You’ll be:
• Responsible for warehousing activities including the receipt of materials, supplies, freight; and the shipment of finished products, according to company policies and procedures.
• Ensuring materials are received, unloaded, and inspected securely and safely from delivery vehicles, comparing items and quantities received against freight bills, vendor invoices, bills of lading, customer orders, manifests, or other records, documenting discrepancies; and delivering materials to inventory for storage.
• Maintaining records of damaged or defective items; recording time, date, quantity, source, and destination of materials, including updating the purchase order system for receipts/shipments that are received, cancelled, or back-ordered.
• Gathering, verifying, scanning, labeling, packing/wrapping, loading items, and ensuring shipment in a timely manner according to specifications and the applicable transportation method.
• Ensuring the orderly stocking and timely delivery of merchandise and the security and accountability of inventory, enabling materials to be available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have at least 1+ years of relevant work experience in shipping/receiving.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Have basic knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and processes.
• Are able to follow established procedures, policies, and processes to accomplish tasks.
