The Quality Assurance Engineer will be a key member of the beginning for this location, launching the facility from the ground up. Work for one of the top players in the automotive industry in this new location – excellent pay, benefits, allowances, and perks!
 
Essential Functions

  • Incoming Material Quality Control: Inspect and verify raw materials; document non-conformances; collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues.

  • In-Process Quality Control: Monitor and control manufacturing quality; develop and implement quality control plans; conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.

  • Production Line Inspection: Perform regular inspections; rectify deviations; ensure adherence to quality checkpoints.

  • Supplier Quality Assurance: Evaluate and audit suppliers; resolve quality issues; implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Quality Management System: Maintain quality documentation; ensure compliance with industry standards; conduct internal audits.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in improvement initiatives; analyze quality data; implement corrective actions.

  • Training and Development: Train staff on quality control methods; develop training materials.

  • Customer Quality Assurance: Manage customer complaints; ensure timely resolution of issues; meet customer quality requirements.

 
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field. (may be flexible here)

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.

  • Proficiency in using quality management software and tools.

  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in quality management (e.g., CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt).

  • Familiar with ISO9000/TS16949/VDA quality system;

  • Experience in the new energy or automotive battery sectors.
