We’re seeking an Instrument Technician to work with one of out top biotechnology industry client at the East area of PR. With us, it’s all about finding the job that’s just right.
Salary: $20.00 p/h
Summary:
Under general supervision, the Instrument Technician is responsible for performing/providing calibration, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and documentation of instruments, process control systems, and equipment used in manufacturing, utility plants, and analytical labs.
- Perform basic calibrations of instruments on process and utility equipment.
- Assist the team with maintaining an up-to-date working spare parts inventory system for the equipment/ systems the team is responsible for.
- Assist in the development, revision, and updating of related SOPs for work related areas.
- Configure and repair microprocessor based instruments and controllers.
- Basic troubleshooting and repair of process control and laboratory instruments.
Education and Experience
- Associate degree and 2 years of instrument experience
- Temperature and Pressure Instruments Calibration
- Analytical Instruments Calibration
- LOCK OUT/TAG OUT experience
- Maximo Software experience
- Sanitary Connection and Diaphragm valves experience
- Available to work 12 hours shift
