Job Description: Quality Control Testing Specialist

Company Overview: Join a fast-growing life science tools company dedicated to developing and selling the leading optical particle analysis platform.

  • Salary range 65k- 75K/year DOE

  • Burlingame, CA, 

Position Objective: The primary focus of this role is on Quality Control Testing of consumable products for Aura instruments. This includes evaluating product performance, analyzing Quality Control data, and reporting test results and observations for product release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Quality Control Testing of membrane filter plates.

  • Prepare and test reagents for use with the Aura systems.

  • Plan, initiate, and execute product stability studies for consumable products.

  • Participate in membrane plate production activities.

  • Perform incoming material inspections.

  • Conduct Quality Control Testing of the Aura instrument as needed.

  • Maintain inventory of materials required for QC testing.

  • Analyze data and report test results.

  • Prepare documentation for product release to Finished Goods inventory.

  • Summarize data and clearly communicate test results in various forums.

  • Generate documentation for consumable testing.

  • Participate in other QC and development activities as needed.

  • Perform lab safety-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Life Science with a minimum of 6 months lab experience.

  • Experience with laboratory instruments, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and documentation/reporting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.

  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks according to goals and company needs.

  • Strong team player with the ability to work cross-functionally.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proactive, well-organized, flexible, and able to multi-task.
