Integration Controls Engineer
Location: Sterling, MA (Relocation Assistance Available)
Salary: $120,000 to $140,000 + DOE
Candidates will need to be ITAR compliant
Kelly® Engineering is seeking a Controls Engineer for a Direct Hire position with a well-established Automation Systems Integrator experiencing dynamic growth in Sterling, MA. This position offers a competitive salary up to $140K plus quarterly bonus and company growth potential. Controls Engineer Responsibilities:
• Program and configure PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) systems using industry-standard software and tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing manufacturing processes.
• Conduct system analysis, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal operation.
• Provide technical support and training to other Engineers, Technicians and Customers.
• Ensure all projects comply with regulatory standards and safety requirements.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field desired
• 3+ years of experience in control systems engineering, preferably in a live automation environment.
• Experience with PLC programming and configuration- Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider Electric
• Knowledge of motion control, sensor integration, and data acquisition systems
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience with robotics or advanced automation systems. Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies such as IoT, machine learning, and predictive maintenance
