Pay Rate/Shifts:
1st: 7am-3pm | 2nd: 3pm-11pm | 3rd 11pm-7am | Rotating 12hr shifts 7pm-7am & 7am-7pm
$15/hr training, $3 differential for 3rd shift & rotating 12’s alternating days/weekends off.

What’s a typical day as an Operator/Inspector? You’ll be:
• Operating a machine that measures, prints, cuts, folds, and glues or seals plain paper or plastic film to form bags
• Inserting shaft into the core of the parent roll and securing it using hand tools
• Threading materials through guides and rollers to cutters, gluer, printer, or folding device
• Starting the machine, observing operation, and adjusting it to ensure uniform shearing, folding, gluing, or sealing of continuous rolls of material into finished bags
• Reading job orders and ensuring conformity to specifications
• Setting up and running the machine, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and production
• Inspecting bags for defects and removing defective bags from the conveyor
• Ensuring proper count of bags and bundles and placing them on pallets for shipping

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Are able to read a tape measure
• Have the ability to stand, stoop, bend, twist, reach, and grasp with hands
• Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Have machine operating or inspection experience
• Have good communication skills
