Kelly Engineering is recruiting for a Controls Engineer for our growing client in Macon, GA.
This client is doubling their production and needs to add to the team! As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing our manufacturing processes across multiple production lines.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, focusing on control systems and automation.
- Utilize project management software for project planning and resource management.
- Design, implement, and maintain control system programming and HMI systems.
- Manage PLC-based hardware/software, with experience in various control systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in control system programming, process controls, and automated systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Develop and implement control system solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Utilize data analysis tools for process optimization.
- Work closely with automation products, specializing in control system programming and integration with motion control, servo, and vision systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in high-speed manufacturing, preferably in the consumer goods industry.
- Proficiency in project management software.
- Strong technical knowledge of control systems and automation.
- Experience with control system programming and HMI systems.
- Familiarity with PLC-based hardware/software.
- Demonstrated experience in control system programming, process controls, and automated systems.
- Expertise in automation products, including control system integration with motion control, servo, and vision systems.
