Kelly Engineering is recruiting for a Controls Engineer for our growing client in Macon, GA.

This client is doubling their production and needs to add to the team! As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting and optimizing our manufacturing processes across multiple production lines.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, focusing on control systems and automation.

  • Utilize project management software for project planning and resource management.

  • Design, implement, and maintain control system programming and HMI systems.

  • Manage PLC-based hardware/software, with experience in various control systems.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in control system programming, process controls, and automated systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

  • Develop and implement control system solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Utilize data analysis tools for process optimization.

  • Work closely with automation products, specializing in control system programming and integration with motion control, servo, and vision systems.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in high-speed manufacturing, preferably in the consumer goods industry.

  • Proficiency in project management software.

  • Strong technical knowledge of control systems and automation.

  • Experience with control system programming and HMI systems.

  • Familiarity with PLC-based hardware/software.

  • Demonstrated experience in control system programming, process controls, and automated systems.

  • Expertise in automation products, including control system integration with motion control, servo, and vision systems.
