Kelly® Engineering is seeking a Mechanic Operator II for a contract position at Global Medical Device client in Manati, Puerto Rico. If you are passionate about shaping the world we live in and are ready to reengineer your future, trust the experts at hiring experts.

Salary: $13.75 – $14.90 per/hour

Overview

This client is Global Biopharmaceutical company whose mission is to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases.

In this role you’ll be responsible to Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs physical plant equipment and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting and telecommunications.

This role will give you an opportunity to transform patients’ lives through the engineering field by contribute with a global leading biopharma company powered by talented individuals who drive  innovation.

Schedule: 12 hours shift (5am to 5pm)
Need to be available to travel to San Lorenzo, PR only during training period (about 4 months).
*Some travel adjustments payments will be included.

Responsibilities:

  • Will need to read and understand blueprints, schematics, models, and other specifications.

  • Perform tuning, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, repair, installation, preventive and predictive maintenance, calibration, scheduling and improvements to equipment, manufacturing systems and instruments.

  • Carry out technical diagnoses of medium and high complexity equipment such as PLCs.

  • (“Programmable Logic Controllers”), VFDs (“Variable Frequency Drives”) and servo motors and their drivers, among others, including determining the root-cause of faults and repairing equipment.

Qualifications:
 

  • Associate Degree in Technical areas: Mechanic, Electromechanic, Electric, Tool & die or related.
