Product Manager(Remote) 
Client in Building Materials (Weatherproofing), this will be spray foams, is currently hiring a Product Manager. 

The role is fully remote and involves collaborating across various departments to drive the development, launch, and success of our products. The ideal candidate will have expertise in polyurethanes and building materials, strong project management abilities, and a keen interest in product innovation and market expansion.

Job Summary:
The Product Manager for Spray Foam Insulation will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our spray foam insulation products. This role involves working cross-functionally with R&D, engineering, marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure the successful development, launch, and performance of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with polyurethanes and building materials, excellent project management skills, and a passion for driving product innovation and market growth. This job will be remote with the ability needed to travel 25-30%.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Planning.
Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for spray foam insulation, aligned with the company’s overall goals and market needs.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscape. Use insights to inform product development and positioning.
Define product vision, roadmap, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track success and make data-driven decisions.
Product Development and Management.
Lead cross-functional teams in the development of new spray foam insulation products, from concept to commercialization.
Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure product designs meet quality, performance, and safety standards.
Manage product lifecycle, including product launches, updates, and discontinuations.
Market and Customer Engagement.
Be the expert of the competition – gather intelligence on competitive product, pricing, and promotion by conducting research and customer insights, and compile analysis in products and systems.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotional activities.
Provide sales support through training, product information, and customer engagement initiatives.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve product offerings and address market demands.
Articulate and cascade customer needs to applicable cross-functional teams.
Financial Management.
Develop and manage product budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to ensure profitability and alignment with business objectives.
Monitor product performance against financial targets and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Compliance and Standards.
Ensure all products comply with industry regulations, standards, and certifications.
Stay updated on changes in industry regulations and standards that may impact product development and marketing.

Competencies and Skills:
Experience with full life cycle product management, P&L management, market segmentation, brand development in the construction industry.
Knowledge of the financial components of product and marketing management, including product profit contributions (cost, pricing, mix), P&L statements, budgets and other financial metrics.
Strong analytical skills to interpret/ adapt system procedures or operating concepts to fit new situations.
Ability to conceptualize, organize and execute new initiatives.
Strong organizational skills – attention to detail and Self-Motivator – willing to take the initiative.
Strong knowledge and proficiency in data software: Microsoft Office Suite (required), CRM (preferably Salesforce.com), JDE (preferred).
Excellent oral and written communication skills necessary to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with all levels of internal and external customers.
Previous project management experience in a cross-functional environment is required, involving successfully organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation while fostering team collaboration and task commitment
 
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
Minimum of 10+ years of product marketing experience preferably in the building products or construction industry
Preferred:
Relevant professional certification.
