Compensation $26 to $32 an hour

Must be fluent in English, but Spanish is not a plus.
Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 PM or as assigned by the supervisor based on customer requirements. No one is working over-time at this time.
STEM-related degree (Associate’s minimum).
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot software, hardware, and complex technical systems.
Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus).
Kelly Engineering is seeking several in-house, Technical Service Installation Engineers for our client in Semiconductors, located in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. These roles are in-house, onsite, and will be responsible for installation, startup, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of company supplied equipment of several products. Roles are Contracts without an end date and opened to both entry level and experienced individuals. The right candidate will have an Associates’ or Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline, and 1-2 years plus experience (a recent grad with relevant internships in a STEM or Semiconductor focus or interest may also be a good contender).
As a part of this team, you will work on complex equipment installations, perform troubleshooting, and provide expert training and support to customers. This is your chance to work on groundbreaking projects that shape the future of technology!
Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 PM or as assigned by the supervisor based on customer requirements. This position regularly requires overtime and weekend work as needed (Being said client did state to mention no one is working over-time at this time).
SUMMARY:
You will be responsible for complete field installation, startup, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of company supplied equipment of several products. Depending upon the terms of the contract or project, this may include planning, scheduling, coordinating, cost control and monitoring the work in an advisory capacity to others, as well as supervising company employees in the performance of the work. This also includes documenting all job activity. In this position the engineer is expected to become proficient in basic systems technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hands-On Problem Solving: Tackle challenging and complex issues in the field, from data!
Leading and participating in complex service calls and interfacing with customer’s personnel to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution.
Leading assessment of complex product/equipment performance based on field support data and design modifications or improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, analyzing complex data to ensure smooth operations.
Interface with customers to deliver high-quality service and technical support.
Manage projects and field operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s in STEM related discipline. Interest in R&D, Additive Manufacturing or Semiconductor industry a huge plus!
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot software, hardware, and other complex technical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and consult on potential problems and provide effective solutions in relation to application of concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes.
Must be a self-starter with minimal supervision needed.
Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. Must be fluent in English, both written and spoken, intermediate to advanced Spanish language skills a plus
Strong analytical background.
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to logically troubleshoot complex hardware, software, application, and process related issues and convey this information in a way the customer understands.
Practical/theoretical knowledge of PLS/PRS software products a plus.
