Kelly Education is Hiring Service Monitors for the 2023-2024 School Year!
Summary: To help tele-therapist to see students in accordance to student IEP’s.
Essential Functions: Incumbent must achieve the following outcomes with or without reasonable accommodation:
· Good interpersonal and Collaboration Skills
· Excellent Communication
· Ability to maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work environment
· Proficient computer skills, especially in regards to Google and Google apps
· Physically able to assist students to, from and during therapy sessions with direction from licensed therapist
· Ability to maintain focus for students
· Set up Therapeutic equipment needed for sessions
· Ability to travel between sites if necessary
· Exhibit flexibility
· Other duties as assigned
Duties: In addition to the essential functions of this job, the incumbent must perform the following duties:
· Complies with state-approved Code of Ethics of the Education Profession and upholds and enforces rules, administrative directives and regulations, school board policies, and local, state and federal regulations
· Articulates and facilitates the implementation of the mission and values of the Albuquerque Public Schools
· Safeguards confidentiality for privileged information
· Prepares and maintains accurate and complete records as required by law, state directives, District policy and administrative regulations
· Shares the responsibility for the supervision and care of District inventory, proper and safe use of facilities, equipment and supplies, and reports safety hazards promptly
· Maintains professional relationships and works cooperatively with employees, the community and other professionals
· Maintains professional competence through individual an staff training, in-service educational activities and self-selected professional growth activities
· Attends staff meetings and participates on committees within area of responsibility
· Performs other tasks related to area of responsibilities as requested or assigned by an immediate supervisor.
Required APS Pre-Employment and Other Employment Conditions:
· Satisfactory completion of criminal background verification
Minimum Required Education, Licenses, Certifications, Experience and Skills:
· HS Diploma
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience and Education:
· Knowledge of tele-therapy practices in an educational setting
· Ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects
· Ability to use computer systems to complete work assignments
· Ability to adapt to various situations and environments
· Ability to work with and interact with diverse populations
