Inquiry for QC Lab Technician Opportunities – Atlanta, GA Area (Biotech, Pharmaceutical & Medical Device Industries)
We are actively seeking talented individuals for Quality Control (QC) Lab Technician positions in the Atlanta, GA area across the Biotech, Pharmaceutical, and Medical Device industries. These positions range from entry-level to senior-level and offer an exciting opportunity to be a part of dynamic teams working on cutting-edge technologies and products that improve patient outcomes and drive innovation in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform analytical tests such as HPLC, GC, UV, IR, KF, pH, viscosity, and other common QC methods.
- Prepare and calibrate laboratory equipment, maintain lab supplies, and ensure compliance with good laboratory practices (GLP) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Document, analyze, and report test results in compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and recommend corrective actions to resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with other departments, including R&D and Manufacturing, to support product development and ensure product quality.
Qualifications:
- Entry-Level: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related fields. Familiarity with QC testing methods and laboratory equipment is a plus.
- Mid-Level: 2+ years of experience in a QC lab setting, preferably in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries. Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, and other testing methodologies is highly desirable.
- Senior-Level: 5+ years of experience in QC laboratory environments, including strong expertise in analytical testing, troubleshooting, and leading laboratory teams. Experience in GMP, FDA, or ISO 13485 regulated environments is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in standard laboratory testing techniques, including HPLC, GC, and spectrophotometry.
- Experience with laboratory instruments, software, and troubleshooting methods.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and organized records.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (FDA, GMP, ISO, etc.) and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in team settings.
